Gay was originally a Rick Santorum supporter, but she voted unanimously with the rest of the state’s delegates to nominate Romney tonight. Gay said she relates to Ann Romney because she also chose to be a stay-at-home mom. “She’s made motherhood honorable again. Still, in the 21st century, people look down on people who want to stay home and raise their children. And it’s the greatest job on the planet.”

Mitt Romney has declined to say much about his vice presidential search, but the Republican nominee’s wife offered a new clue: he’s considering a woman.
“We’ve been looking at that,” Ann Romney told CBS News, when asked if her husband should pick a female as his No. 2. “I’d love that option as well. So, you know, there’s a lot of people that Mitt is considering right now.”

Per ABC News’ Emily Friedman, Ann Romney told Baltimore WBAL radio that she’s working to show another side of her husband. Asked about criticism that Romney is “too stiff,” Ann Romney laughed and replied, “I guess we’d better unzip him, and let the real Mitt Romney out because he is not.”
