This forecast is based on extremely simple math: Take the current rates of turnout and party preference for the four major racial and ethnic groups and plug them in to the Census Bureau’s population projections for the 18-and-over population in the next half-century. "Zack Martini, the 11-year-old from Springfield, N.J. who asked New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for guidance about how to win a seat on the sixth grade council, lost the student election Wednesday.
“Unfortunately, the results from the election didn’t go our way,” Zack’s father, Ed Martini, told The Ticket. “Zack is disappointed he didn’t win but he wishes the new president, Zoe Frie, the best of luck.”
